Anointing of the Sick by
The Pastor will come to anoint ill parishioners unable to come to church. Contact the Parish office to receive this Sacrament. (609-884-1656). The patient does not have to be in danger of death to receive this special blessing. Please let us know if your loved one is able to receive communion at this time, so our priests will be prepared.

If the person in your care is in danger of death it is important to call the priest when the patient is still conscious (if possible) but call the priest for the Sacrament of the sick as soon as you can.

Literature rack by

We are filling our literature racks in the church vestibules at both campuses with select items that have been approved by our Pastor. These items are FREE, and our selections will change. If you would like to leave a monetary donation, we would gratefully accept, but it is not necessary. We eventually plan on having a locked box there for that purpose. You may place an offering in the Poor Box in the church. Please do not drop off your personal mail on these racks or religious literature you no longer want.

Prayer Chain by

"Prayer is the best armor we have. It is the key which opens the heart of God": Padre Pio. What a beautiful way to introduce the Prayer Chain to St. John Neumann Parish. Prayer is an intimate conversation with God and it comes from your heart. You find your own time, your own spot and your own way to let Him know your feelings, problems, and concerns.

The Prayer Chain has two contact people. They receive prayer requests and then call the volunteers with the requests and they in turn call other volunteers. Prayers are then offered for those people whose names have been submitted. We accept prayer requests from all faiths and all situations, not just illnesses. The names remain on the Prayer Chain until we are told to remove them.

To become a volunteer please call Madeline Sheppard at 609-884-1204 or Andrea Noto at 609-287-8619.

Prayer for Priestly Vocations - English by
Lord, as you once called your first disciples to make them "Fishers of Men",Let your sweet invitation continue to resound, "Come follow me". Give young men and women the grace of responding quickly to your voice.
Support our Bishops, priests and consecrated people in their apostolic labors. Grant perseverance to our seminarians and to all those who are living the ideal of a life totally consecrated to your service.
Enkindle in our community a missionary eagerness. Lord send workers to your harvest and do not allow humanity to be lost due to the lack of pastors, missionaries and people dedicated to the cause of the gospel.
Mary, Mother of the Church and model of every vocation, help us to say "yes" to the Lord, Who calls us to cooperate in the divine plan of salvation. Amen

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
If you wish to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and/or Confirmation at the Easter Vigil this coming year, you must contact Sister Kathleen at 886-3663. The first stage is called INQUIRY because the participants are asking questions about our Catholic Faith. There is no commitment at this time. We do try to schedule our meetings when they do not interfere with work times. This process is for those persons who have no religious affiliation and wish to become Catholic as well as for those who have been baptized but have not received the Sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation.
