Extraordinary Ministers to the Homebound & Nursing Homes

Above and beyond the confines of our church, Extraordinary Ministers are called to make Our Lord present to our homebound, disabled, and those residing temporarily or permanently in one of three nursing homes relying on St. John Neumann’s chaplaincy. You must already be Extraordinary Minister in our Diocese & meet the same requirements as our Extraordinary Ministers to apply. If you had retired from being an Extraordinary Minister at Mass because of age or disability, yet are still able to drive and get around, you may still be able to serve in the ministry to which you had been called: nursing homes are accessible! This ministry unites our Lord to the faithful wherever they may be, and to extend your availability based on ability is Charity.
